Bio:

Atzaro Okavango is the newest addition to African Bush Camp's lodges in Botswana. It is located in the south-east corner of the Okavango Delta in the NG32 concession, in what should be a wildlife rich area as well as allowing for a variety of activities.

The camp's 10 suites (including two family rooms) are meant to have been built with zero environmental impact and powered entirely by solar panels, which is especially impressive considering that every suite has air-conditioning, a private plunge pool and WiFi. As well as this, in the spacious open-fronted suites you will find sumptuous neutral tones, a seating area, a private deck and indoor and outdoor showers.

The ample amenities do not stop there as in the main area there is a 20m swimming pool (large enough to do decent laps), a fully equipped gym, wellness spa and yoga deck.

Activities will focus on early morning and afternoon game drives and walking safaris. During the flood season (around April to November) the camp should be able to offer water activities including catch and release fishing and mokoro trips. Always check the water levels with us if you are particularly interested in taking part in these safari activities. There is no age limit at the lodge, however mokoro safaris are only for those aged 16 years and older.

We also love the sky bed sleep out option for a night under the stars.

This comfortable lodge is perhaps not the best choice for a safari purest looking for a paired back, wild experience. However, for those looking for a comfortable stay with many modern facilities or for families looking to entertain children, it is a great choice.
