KUTANDALA CAMP

Set to open in September 2025 Kutandala Camp is going to be one of the Zambia's smallest and rawest camps. It will provide a rustic experience for just six guests in three safari tents on the banks of the Mwaleshi River in the North Luangwa National Park.

Much like its sister properties in the same portfolio of camps such as Musekese Camp in the Kafue and Kigali and Chula Island in the Lower Zambezi, the camp has been designed by guides for the sort of experience they enjoy on safari.

It won't be a luxury safari experience in terms of square footage, brass bath tubs or plunge pools, but the experience of wilderness and a connection to the wild and rugged North Luangwa is the luxury of luxury we like here at Faran Travel. 

We expect that like Classic Zambia's other camps you will really be able to feel the passion of the owner-guides who have set up this camp, in the choice of location for the camp, the quality of the guiding and the activity offerings. While the North Luangwa is well-known as a walking safari destination from the likes of camps like Mwaleshi, both game drives and walking safaris are possible from camps like Takwela and soon Kutandala Camp.
