Bio:

Kicheche Valley Camp, nestled in the pristine Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya's Maasai Mara region, offers an unparalleled safari experience. Known for its commitment to eco-friendly practices and intimate wildlife encounters, we think this camp, along with its sister properties such as Kicheche Laikipia has succeeding in providing a perfect blend of luxury and wilderness.

The camp features just six, octagonal, elegantly furnished tents with en-suite bathrooms, hot showers, and comfortable beds draped with mosquito nets. Each tent has a private veranda, ideal for watching the sunrise or observing wildlife. The decor combines rustic charm with modern comfort, creating a cozy and inviting retreat after a day of exploration.

All of Kicheche's guides are at least KPSGA silver-rated, putting them in the top 5% of all guides in Kenya and  Kicheche Valley Camp offers a variety of activities to make the most of these fantastic guiding skills. Morning and evening game drives in the Naboisho Conservancy don't operate on the normal rigid schedule, instead adapting to guests preferences and interests, ensuring a more personal and tailored experienced.

Walking safaris are also available, offering a more intimate perspective on the environment. These walks, led by Maasai guides, provide a chance to learn about the smaller details of the ecosystem, from plants and insects to animal tracks. Additionally, guests can visit local Maasai villages to experience the rich culture and traditions of the Maasai people.

We would urge everyone to consider the five night 'Walking Wilderness' itinerary that includes two nights at Kicheche Valley before a walk across the Naboisho Conservancy to a mobile wild camping set up for one night, before a morning walk through the Olare Motorogi Conservancy to Kicheche Bush Olare for a final two nights.
