Bio:

Mbamba is a safari camp in Botswana's Okavango Delta and it is the newest addition to Natural Selection's portfolio of lodges and camps having opened in April 2025.

It joins the of Jack's Private Camp, in the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, with its iconic decadent, vintage safari style. Expect mahogany furniture, lofty glass cabinets filled with treasure troves of collectables and curiosities, iconic interior tent linings, four-poster beds and Persian rugs.

While the design may echo a time gone by, the amenities are up to date with the modern day, including air-conditioning  (somewhat of a rarity in tented camps in Botswana), WiFi and a sparkling swimming pool.

Mbamba is located in the NG12 concession of the Okavango Delta. Once a little visited area of the northern Okavango Delta, it is now home to several camps, some also run by Natural Selection and another new camp - Maxa, which opens in March 2025. A vast concession of 220,000 acres and neighboured by the renowned Duba and Vumbura concessions, it is a fantastically diverse and wildlife-rich reserve.

Given the location to the north west of the Okavango Delta, where the fingers of alluvial fan that is the Delta begin to spread out. It is typically a drier area and activities will revolve around game drives and walking safaris. However, depending on water-levels boat safaris and mokoro trips are also possible, typically between April and October.
